Overview of Brain Sensei PMP Training
Brain Sensei is a PMP Exam-Prep Course. However, it’s different from other courses because it’s based in feudal Japan. The main character is a female Samurai.
After I completed the first Module, I was immediately drawn in by the idea of being the project manager and rallying the community to build a castle for our children and village.
It’s an online video-based training program and it’s very well organized. It made me want to learn more about processes, which is rare. I cannot resist a puzzle.
Pros
Highly interactive
Although there is a lot of content on screen, it’s built on Articulate and is highly interactive.
If you don’t know what that means, it means that you can touch the screen to select options, take self-assessment quizzes and drag and drop.
Interactivity increases your likelihood of remembering what you’ve learned, which can increase your chances to pass the exam. Engaging with the material will improve your recall, according to some studies.
Test your skills
You can also use the built-in self-assessments to track your progress. I don’t know if you do, but I like to know what I am doing.
There are also four full practice exams with 1,500 questions. It is important to feel comfortable sitting in a chair for the entire length of a full exam. You also need to be able to manage your time.
Complete PMP content
It consists of 9 modules and is a complete PMP(r), training course that covers all aspects from the beginning. The lessons are very short.
Learn in 2 Months
You can find the course online help section. It states that most people finish the material within 1-2 months. This is great if you need to squeeze your PMP studies into a shorter time frame.
It’s easy to fit study time into your busy schedule by having access to the materials via your smartphone or tablet.
Guarantee
They offer a 100% pass guarantee, and will extend your access to courses if you fail the exam. It seems unlikely that you will need it with a 99.6% pass rate. However, it is nice to know that it is available. You can also get a 30-day refund if it isn’t for you.
Mode Offline
Apple Podcast users can watch a video walkthrough for the learning modules offline. Both Android and Apple users have the ability to stream via Spotify and Apple Podcast.
Cons
Slow page load times
Some pages took a while for some pages to load. This is probably more about my internet connection than the product. However, you should make sure you have a good connection before you start a study session.
